Introduction/Overview
Our free online event is for social researchers from all sectors to stay connected and share experiences and creative solutions to carrying out research during the current pandemic.
The current pandemic is posing many challenges to the normal ways of interacting for social researchers, and we would like to offer an opportunity to keep connected with each other during this time.
To do this, SRA North and SRA Scotland are running this free event.
It will have two areas for discussion broadly related to both the current pandemic, and to working together beyond this.
- Virtual social research methods, including such ethical and practical considerations and creative solutions
- Experiences of social researchers - how our work has changed - or stopped! - in universities, agencies, the public sector and for independent researchers and students
