SRA Annual Conference 2021

The SRA conference is back!  Learn from experts and peers on key issues, at this one-day online event on 25 November 2021.

Social research (and much else) came to an abrupt halt in March last year. Find out how researchers have adjusted, re-worked and innovated their way through unprecedented times.

Join us on Thursday 25 November 2021 for the SRA’s first online conference, featuring:

Keynote speakers

  • Sir Ian Diamond, National Statistician:  Delivering Census 2021 - and what comes next? With discussant Jill Rutter, Institute of Government
  • Sarah Castell, CEO of Involve:  The value of deliberative and participatory approaches, as exemplified by the recent Climate Assembly
  • Jane Elliott, Professor of Sociology at Exeter University:  Narrative futures and the future of narrative methods

With special guest speaker

  • Joan C. Williams, Professor of Law and Founding Director, Centre for WorkLife: The issues and challenges raised in her new book ‘Bias Interrupted: Creating inclusion for real and for good’.
