Join us at the annual conference 2024

Join us for this year's SRA Annual Conference on Thursday 6 June at the Royal College of Physicians, London, for keynotes, masterclasses, presentations from research peers, and the opportunity to meet friends and colleagues, old and new.  The day starts at 9.30am and we close at 5pm with a drinks reception in the garden.

Book your place today!

The conference is the only forum the UK has for bringing together social researchers from all sectors and disciplines to share knowledge and ideas, to debate our most pressing professional issues, and, of course, to meet and talk.  Our 2023 conference brought together 300+ researchers and research users from central and local government and other public bodies, research agencies and institutes, academia, and the independent and charity sectors, representing the full range of research methodologies.

'Policy priorities in the next Parliament, and the research evidence they should depend on’
Stian Westlake, executive chair, ESRC

'Democratic renewal, people-powered change, and visions for participation in the twenty-first century'
Polly Curtis, chief executive, Demos, in conversation with Reema Patel, head of deliberative engagement, Ipsos

'The good, the bad and the ugly of AI in qualitative analysis'
Christina Silver, CAQDAS with Dr Steve Wright, University of Central Lancashire
