In this webinar Ben Cavanagh from the Scottish Government COVID-19 Analysis Division, will discuss the research and evidence that has been used to support the response to the pandemic in Scotland.

It will include information about research to understand what the effects of the pandemic have been on society, what are the experiences of different groups within the population, to what extent have people followed the public health messages, and what are the challenges and opportunities for recovery.

Ben Cavanagh leads the social research programme on Covid-19 in the Scottish Government COVID-19 Modelling and Analysis Hub. He has worked as a Government Social Researcher since 2006, mainly in the areas of community safety, social capital, and societal wellbeing. Twitter @benj
