Introduction/Overview

Unlock the power of Ripple Effect Mapping (REM) to capture the true impact of your projects and programmes. This interactive, strengths-based training introduces REM as a participatory evaluation method that uncovers both expected and unexpected outcomes. Through hands-on activities, you’ll learn how to facilitate REM sessions, guide group reflections, and create visual maps that reveal the ripple effects of your work across communities, organisations, and stakeholders. Whether you’re aiming to demonstrate impact, foster stakeholder engagement, or inform strategic decisions, REM provides a creative and inclusive approach to evaluation and learning.

The course blends theory with practical exercises, real-world case studies, and expert facilitation tips—equipping you to plan, deliver, and analyse REM sessions with confidence. Ideal for those working in complex or evolving environments, REM helps you surface stories and insights that traditional methods might miss, energising participants and building shared understanding.
