SRA Cymru

We are an active local Branch of the SRA, based in South Wales and host events throughout the year to support the local community of social researchers. The Branch is made up of a number of local volunteer SRA Members who meet every two months to plan events and catch up with wider SRA activities.

SRA Cymru free evening seminar:
'Writing creatively for research' with Dr Helen Kara FAcSS
Wednesday 1 March 2017, Cardiff
Registration: from 4.45pm (with refreshments) Seminar: 5-6pm, followed by opportunities for networking.


The Welsh Government's GSR team are hosting an event for suppliers of social and economic research on the 8th March 2017. The event will include presentations in the morning followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon with the morning’s presenters and representatives from each research team in Welsh Government. The afternoon sessions will provide opportunities for attendees to discuss issues, and any raised in the pre-event survey, and ideas for improving research in Welsh Government will be welcomed.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The presentations and information discussed at the event will be shared with those unable to attend.
