SRA North seminar: How social research can support the new NHS long term plan

SRA North has teamed up with Qa Research to co-host a free evening seminar. Speakers from government and research agency settings will come together to discuss research examples and approaches that could be applied to assist the NHS with its recently published long term plan. Exploring methods as well as applications, the evening should be of interest to researchers working across a range of sectors.

We're pleased to present an evening of presentations and networking focussed on how social research can support the NHS Long Term Plan.

The evening will be chaired by Leanne Dew from the Science, Research & Evidence Directorate at the Department for Health and Social Care
Presenters will include:
Richard Bryan of Qa Research discussing his research on co-developing tech based communications solutions in adult social care.  And Rachel Lawes from Lawes Consulting focussing on how semiotics can be applied to assist the NHS with improving health outcomes.

The evening will end with informal networking including drinks and nibbles.

It's free to attend but registration in advance is required.

4 parking spaces will be available at Qa’s office (please contact SRA if you require a parking space).  York station is a 10 minute walk away. There is also an NCP car park just around the corner (NCP Tanner Row)
