How to create research with impact: SRA 40th lecture (Belfast)

In this free evening lecture to celebrate the SRA’s 40th year, Kathryn Torney, data journalist and Editor at The Detail investigative news website in Belfast, will talk about the importance of impact in research. Her advice includes not bewildering the reader with jargon, considering visuals, planning ahead and catering for different audiences. Kathryn encourages researchers to do things differently, to collaborate with others, push the boundaries, be creative and - most importantly of all - focus on producing work that matters and can’t be ignored.
